We’ve got a couple of things on the horizon as we go into the weekend. First, Mars enters Gemini on Saturday for a six-week stay, ramping up movement and exploration. Then we have a Capricorn Full Moon, putting the spotlight on maturity and responsibility.
Beginning with Mars, it’s been in Taurus since June 9, a sign that Mars isn’t classically at home in, but gives us an opportunity to slow down, to find stability and security. It’s a gear shift once Mars gets into Gemini tomorrow, July 20, a sign where Mars finds it’s desire for travel and new experiences. (Read Mars in Gemini: Sign by Sign.)
Then on Sunday, July 21, a Capricorn Full Moon lights up the sky. If you recall, this isn’t our first Capricorn Full Moon this year. We had one on June 21, albeit at the beginning of Capricorn. This full moon falls at the end of the sign, at 29 degrees Capricorn.
While uncommon to have two full moons in the same sign, it speaks of a story that has needed two stages. Twenty-nine degrees, which is the last degree of a sign, is a degree of culmination, endings, and the results and manifestations of our actions. Capricorn being Capricorn, maybe we have some serious decisions to make, maybe we need to take a more critical look at a situation, or maybe we need to get our life in order.
More on this in Monday’s update.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for July 20-22, 2024.
