Uranus turns retrograde in Taurus. It’s a day if not a week of surprises, seismic shifts, and awakenings. A story that began in 2018-2019, comes to a head. It’s a crisis of authenticity as well as a point of liberation.
Sometimes change can be shocking. Uranus is a planet that has no sentimentality for the past. Its only job is to get us out of our way so that we can step out of patterns and conditioning that restrict our consciousness. And through this process comes new awareness and transformation. It’s just sometimes it’s messy or swift or both.
Uranus first arrived in Taurus in May 2018 and then again in March 2019, opening up a seven year story in the sign of fertility, money, stability, security, and value. If Uranus is a planet that shakes things up, then we know that anything Taurus governs over may look radically different by 2025-2026 when Uranus leaves Taurus for Gemini. What we value may change. How we create stability may transform. Our relationship with the earth may be very different.
But for many of us this is not just a transformation of all things Taurus, it’s an awakening in a certain part of our life. Something has to shift. Not sure where? Read Uranus in Taurus: Sign by Sign.
What’s different about this turn of Uranus, is that it activates a square to Saturn in Aquarius, which may be a bit of a rocky energy. As a result, the systems, structures, and networks of our lives have to change or be upgraded.
So, hold onto your hats. Then again, we’re already in the energy; we’ve been seeing it all week, if not last week with the Leo New Moon. And it’s a story that’s been unfolding since 2018.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for August 20.
