Welcome to Gemini Season! This is a time in the zodiac calendar when we look to travel, communication, education, and the mind. Gemini is a curious sign. It likes to explore as much as it needs a steady stream of information. Last thing Gemini wants is to be bored! It wants lots of options and one in each color.

This month we’re finally pulling out of the sluggish retrograde energy that marked the first half of 2017. When Mercury arrives in Gemini on June 6, life will pick up the pace. And Mercury isn’t the only planet changing signs. On June 4 Mars will move into Cancer followed by Venus in Taurus on June 6. In short, this Gemini Season may be a bit on the moody side courtesy of Mars in Cancer, but at least we have the earthy sensuality of Venus in Taurus to look forward to.

The full moon on June 9 will be a big check in on our Saturn in Sagittarius journey, a story that has been unfolding since 2015. During this time we’ve had to figure out what we believe in, how we see the world, and what we put our faith in. If Gemini is ideas and information, then Sagittarius is the push to form these thoughts into something coherent. This full moon will put publishing and media in the spotlight as much as ideology, dogma, and fanaticism — the shadow side of Sagittarius.

The same day as the full moon Jupiter will turn direct in Libra, which means that June is as much about our personal beliefs as much as it is our relationships with other people. Can we find common ground, especially in a world so divided and polarized? Will be be able to see beyond the narrow scope in which we see the world?

Neptune’s retrograde station on June 16 will be a reminder that we’re all connected. And that if we don’t recognize ourselves in each other, if we fail to have compassion, then we are lost. Some things are bigger than ideology.

By the end of the month we say goodbye to Gemini and move toward Cancer, a sign that connects us to themes of home, family, and tribe. The Cancer New Moon on June 23 will be a reminder to get back to basics, to care and nurture not only ourselves but those closest to us.

Read for your Sun and rising sign.

Aries

March 21–April 19

Aries Glyph

This month may be Gemini Season, a time when you naturally express yourself through writing, speaking, ideas, and movement, but Mars, your ruling planet, will be moving out of Gemini and into Cancer on June 4. For the next six weeks, you’ll be nesting, putting your efforts toward the home, family, and creating a stable foundation for yourself. It’s a new season for you, although one that may feel a bit moody or even emotionally tempestuous. While Aries is known for its decisiveness and action, Mars in Cancer is sensitive and vulnerable. June will be a perfect time to feed yourself with the things and people that fuel your life. You may also be moving or making a change in your living situation. With Venus also changing signs on June 6, you may be extra conscious of money, security, and your material needs. In short, this month will be a time when family and relationships will take top priority, especially after the new moon on June 25. The Jupiter station on June 9 will bring an opportunity with a partner, a time to make a decision about an alliance or relationship. Falling on the same day as a full moon, you and a mate may be looking toward the future, making economic investments, or having a serious discussion about your values and philosophy. But let’s not forget that it’s Gemini Season and, as a result, you may be feeling restless and in need of freedom at the same time you’re settling down. When Mercury arrives in Gemini on June 6, don’t be surprised if you feel chattier than usual or in need of space. Just keep an eye out for Saturn around June 15. With the Sun facing off with the planet boundaries and commitment, you’ll have a check in with your personal growth. Have you pushed things too far or are you ready for the next big step in your life? That said, plant some roots this month. Honor the positive influence of Saturn, which pushes us to create a solid framework for our life to grow on. Want to learn more about how the astrology of June will affect you? Taurus

April 20–May 20

Taurus Glyph

Have you been feeling a little low the past few months? Not quite on your game? That’s because Venus, your ruling planet, has been pulling you behind the scenes since way back in February. As a result, it’s been less about moving forward than about taking a look at the past, working through heavy emotions, and letting go of the old. That will all start to change after June 6 when Venus finally — FINALLY — leaves Aries and moves in Taurus, a sign that it’s right at home in. Venus in Taurus will be a natural boost of confidence, a feeling of having come back to yourself after a long journey through the metaphorical desert. As the planet of attraction, grace, and charm, Venus will also help you be seen and heard. Speaking of heard, when Mars arrives in Cancer on June 4, you may have a lot to say this month. After all, Cancer is your sign of communication, thinking, and learning, which will make June a time to write, take classes, and learn something new. You may be busier than usual, too. From appointments around town to running back and forth. Keep an eye on communication this month as well; Mars tends to be a charged influence. And with the planet of action stirring things up, one-on-one conversations may get heated or emotional, especially with a partner. That said, we can’t forget that June is Gemini Season, a time in your personal calendar when you gather what you need to feel material rooted and secure. Taurus loves stuff. It needs stuff. You may find yourself making more purchases this month, especially after June 6. Finances will also be in the spotlight, especially around the full moon on June 9. If you’ve been taking on more debt this year, how will you use this month to get your money organized and on budget? The full moon is giving you a big check in on how you’re managing your finances as well as the money you have access to from outside sources — creditors, partners, clients, benefits, and loans. If not money then certainly the full moon will be a check in with your emotional health. With June’s emphasis on communication, maybe this is a good time to speak to a trusted counselor or a professional who can help you navigate — and express — your deepest feelings. Gemini

May 21–June 20

Gemini Glyph

Happy birthday, Gemini! As you embark on another year, let’s look at some long term influences playing out over the coming months. First, remember your old friend Saturn? It’s still over in your relationship sign, having moved into Sagittarius back in 2015. You’re coming to the end of a two year story where you’ve had to work really hard on your one-on-one connections. This includes romantic relationships such as marriages and committed partnerships to how you interface with other people. If relationships have historically been an area that you’ve struggled with, how have you risen to Saturn’s challenge in the past two years? How have you built a new framework for connection? The full moon on June 9 will be a check in with this process. You may have a decision to make about an existing relationship or partnership. Second, you’ve had some help from Jupiter this year and will continue to do so into early October. This is a great time to express who you are, share your talents, create, focus on children, and enjoy a little romance. That said, it’s been hard to escape Saturn’s serious vibe and, when you look back, this has generally been a time in your life where you’ve needed to step up and take on more responsibility. Third, Neptune has been influencing your career since 2012, reminding you to do what you love and help the world to be a better place. With Neptune in Pisces, your personal ambitions have been taking a back seat to the needs of the collective. When Neptune stations retrograde on June 16, you will have a check in with this larger story of compassion, sacrifice, and unconditional love. Having said that about this year’s big time players, here’s a couple of things to note about June starting with Mercury, your ruling planet. After wrapping up its retrograde in May, you’ll be in new (or familiar) territory on June 6 when it arrives in Gemini, giving you a boost until late June. Then Mars, the planet of action on determination, will change signs on June 4, heating up your wallet. Over the coming weeks, into July, you may be spending more than usual or working to get your material needs met. You know, like food, water, and shelter — the basics. Keep an eye on the end of the month. Mercury will make a few bumpy aspects to Pluto and Uranus into early July. You may end June on an emotionally tense footing. Cancer

June 21–July 22

Cancer Glyph

As the Sun moves through Gemini this month, it pulls you inward and behind the scenes. Gemini is the last sign of your personal calendar, which means you’re wrapping up another year before celebrating your birthday. Perhaps you’re in a reflective mood as a result. Always one to hold back and sort through your emotions, set aside some sacred time this month to meditate on what you want to create in the coming year . . . and what you want to leave behind before blowing out the candles on another birthday. You may feel like you’re getting an early jump on your new year once Mars arrives in Cancer on June 4. Like the start of a new season, Mars will give you fire and determination to move forward into the world. Mars may also make you, well, a little cranky. Although your temper may be a little short this month, Venus’s arrival in Taurus on June 6 will strengthen friendships and social connections. And, although you may feel a little pulled behind the scenes this month, there’s a lot going on to keep you active and busy. Maybe you’ll want to use the full moon energies on June 9 to make some decisions about your health and physical wellness. Channel Mars’s restless energy into a trip to the gym or a walk in the fresh air. Speaking of your physical health, you’re rounding out a two year journey where you’ve had to make some serious changes in how you take care of yourself and organize your day-to-day life. The full moon will be a check in on how you’re doing and a reminder that your physical health is inextricably linked to your emotional health. You also may have a decision to make about your living situation or a family member. With Jupiter turning direct on the same day as the full moon, June may bring a change or addition to the home. Looking toward the Cancer New Moon on June 23, time for new beginnings. Make sure you write out a list of birthday wishes and create some new moon magic. Leo

July 23–August 22

Leo Glyph

With most of the planets in the sky in the highest reaches of your chart, this time of the year is about being out in the world, from pushing forward in your career to socializing and making connections. In fact, if career has been an area that hasn’t quite been working according to plan, Venus’s arrival in Taurus on June 6 will strengthen your efforts. After all, Venus is right at home in Taurus. But, before you can enjoy professional new beginnings and opportunities, you first have to make a break with a past. Venus will make a conjunction to Uranus on June 3, which will either bring you a radical rethink of your direction in life, a new philosophy, or a restless need to make a leap in a different direction. This will wrap up a story that has been playing out since February. Additionally, June is Gemini Season and this is a time in your personal calendar when you shine your Leo light on friendships, community, and social networks. This will be an active month for you, especially after Mercury joins the Sun in Gemini on June 6. But will also be in a reflective mood. With Mars in Cancer starting June 4, you’ll enter a five week period of inner searching, meditation, and spiritual exploration. Making sure you’re taking care of yourself this month — body, mind, and soul. Let go of old habits. Catch up on sleep. Start a dream journal. Figure out what is your truth. Speaking of which, the full moon on June 9 will be a check in on your growth and maturity. Since 2015 you’ve had to do some serious work on how you express who you are. While Leo is already known for its creativity and talent, Saturn has made sure that you haven’t taken it for granted. What do you have to show for the last two years of hard work? The full moon will reveal. It may also bring a decision with a romance. Want to learn more about how the astrology of June will affect you? Book your consultation now.

Virgo

August 23–September 22

Virgo Glyph

Career has been a big focus the last month, what with Mars heating up Gemini, the sign that occupies the highest, most ambitious reaches of your chart. If not career then certainly your public life as well as the responsibilities you hold in life. Perhaps you’ve been working hard since April to launch yourself into the world, get recognized for your efforts, or even take your life in a new direction. Mars may be moving out of Gemini on June 4, turning the heat up on on your friendships and social connections instead, but the Sun is still shining a light on your ambitions. As a result, June will be a month for professional new beginnings such as changing jobs or titles, especially after Mercury arrives in Gemini on June 6. That said, we can’t forget about Saturn. The planet of maturity and responsibility has been a long term visitor to the bottom of your chart, a place that represents your foundation as well as home, family, and roots. Since 2015 you’ve had to do a lot of work on this important part of your life and, as a result, maybe you’ve made a major move, made a serious change in the home or how you nurture yourself. The full moon on June 9 will be a check in on your progress, like a periodic exam on what you’ve learned. If full moons bring decisions, shedding light on an area of your life depending on what sign it falls in, then this one may bring a decision about your living situation or a family member as well as touch on deeper emotions. Am I safe? Am I valued? Do I have everything I need for a secure and stable life? On the same day as the full moon, Jupiter, an important planet in your chart, will turn direct after four months retrograde. You may see forward movement in a relationship or alliance. In fact, if we’re talking about longer term influences, the planet Neptune has been a visitor to your relationship sign of Pisces since 2012. Since then you’ve had to open up to other people, learn to be more vulnerable and compassionate. Neptune’s station retrograde on June 16 could bring a sensitive issue with a partner to the forefront. Lastly, by the end of the month, the story will increasingly highlight your social network. Make plans with friends or connect with like minded people as you move into July. Libra

September 23–October 22

Libra Glyph

Libra, let’s just jump right in. After all, your ruling planet, Venus, has been working its way through dynamic, impulsive Aries since February. Since then, relationships have been a major focus for you — maybe to mixed results. You worked through a lot of old interpersonal themes while Venus was retrograde in March and April and, as you begin June, Venus is poised to FINALLY leave Aries. But, first, you have a date with Uranus when Venus joins up with the planet of sudden awakenings, revelations, and breaks from the past on June 3. What have you learned about how you interact with other people over the last few months? How can you do partnership and relationships differently? Uranus can be a bit of a disruptor and note that it’s not about maintaining the status quo. In fact, with Mars, your relationship planet arriving in Cancer on June 4, you’ll be moving into a new chapter with a mate. Then on June 6 Venus will move into Taurus, a sign that it’s quite at home in. But you’ll also be living life through themes of intimacy, trust, security, power, and control. June will be a month to look at your emotional baggage, the sort of stuff that comes out behind closed doors or with your closest confidants. Money will be a big theme as well, from finance and wealth to loans, debts, taxes, and legacies. June is also Gemini Season, a time in your personal calendar when the Sun shines on travel, long distant journeys, and foreign shores. You may be booking a trip this month or looking to other cultures for wisdom and inspiration. Gemini will also place an emphasis on education and in June you may be looking at workshops, specialized training, and even higher education like university classes, especially around the full moon on June 9. If you’re a writer or speaker, use this time to broadcast or publish your ideas as well. As I mentioned earlier, Mars switches signs on June 4, arriving in your career sign, Cancer. With Mars at the highest reaches of your chart, this will be an active time for you professionally, a month to work hard to gain recognition, take on new responsibilities, or get a new job, notably after the new moon on June 23. Mars isn’t shy in this part of your chart, so use it to your advantage to push out into the world and take command of your direction. (Just a reminder about Cancer, it’s a sign that demands that you do what you love professionally and what you feel your heart’s connected to.) Scorpio

October 23–November 21

Scorpio Glyph

After five weeks of digging through your deepest anxieties and emotions, Mars, your ruling planet, will arrive in Cancer on June 4. Yes, you probably secretly loved every moment as you worked through your shadow, but even a Scorpio needs a little sunshine after a trip to the underworld. Cancer is your sign of long distance travel and higher education, shaping the way you see the world and express what you believe in. As a result, you may be traveling this month, either to exotic foreign shores or traveling via the books and different philosophies. But June is Gemini Season and the Sun is still winding its way through a path that Mars carved out during April and May. Yes, there’s still more to examine emotionally and transform either through sharing your feelings with a trusted confidant or counselor. This is a month to be vulnerable, to examine how you trust (nor not trust) others. You may be sorting through themes of sexuality, intimacy, power, and control. Money will also be a big theme this month as Gemini will help you examine your assets, wealth, and even your debt. The full moon on June 9 will be a check in with a larger story that has been unfolding since 2015, namely this need to get your personal financials in order and create a more stable, material world for yourself. How are you doing with that? The full moon will mark a milestone or a need to make a change in how you draw an income, spend money, or what you own. Another shift in gears will come courtesy of Venus. When it arrives in Taurus on June 6, it will breathe new life into relationships. June will be a perfect time to strengthen your connections, from starting a new partnership to tending to your existing relationships. Venus loves Taurus and June will be a time when your experiences with other people will be in bloom. This after many weeks of having to weed through old relationships and release old patterns that had long outlived their usefulness. An alignment between Venus and Uranus on June 3 will help you make the break for good and inspire you towards something new. By the end of the month, it will be time to set your sights out into the world, booking a long distance trip or starting a new chapter of exploration. Sagittarius

November 22–December 21

Sagittarius Glyph

After four months retrograde, Jupiter, your ruling planet, will turn direct on June 9. Hooray! While retrogrades are not bad, marking a time when you’re pulling in instead of pushing out, Jupiter Direct is some much needed movement after wallowing your way through the first half of this year. Do keep in mind that Jupiter is still tangling with Pluto, which means that there’s still immense pressure on you to make a big leap in your evolution. Another planet pushing you to greater heights is Saturn. It’s been a long term visitor to Sagittarius, since September 2015. During the last two years you’ve had to do some serious growing up. (Doesn’t matter if you’re 23 or 73 years old.) The full moon on June 9, the same day as Jupiter Direct, will be a check in on this process of growth and maturity. In fact, the full moon will put you in the spotlight. And with the energy of the full moon pointing over to Libra, June will be a month when you’re reaching toward friendships, social connections, and your community. In many ways June will be about other people as much as it’s about you. Gemini Season is a natural time in your personal calendar when the light shines on relationship. And when Mercury arrives in Gemini on June 6, you’ll be entering a two week period, until June 21, when the door is open to new connection and partnership. Sometimes meeting new people brings up old, complicated emotions. Mars’s arrival in Cancer on June 4 will activating some of your deepest feelings around trust, vulnerability, and sharing, a theme that will play out into early July. Mars is never subtle but it says that the action will be happening behind closed doors for the coming weeks, in the realm of intimacy, sexuality, and other taboo subject matters. Mars will also activate themes around money and wealth this month, pushing you to take the lead in your finances as well as the assets you share with a partner, especially after the new moon on June 23. Your health and work will also play a major role this month starting June 6 when Venus arrives in Taurus. June will be a natural time to connect with your body more, enjoying the sensual pleasures of daily life. Take care of your health and wellness by scheduling a massage or body work. Go for a walk in nature and smell the earth and flowers. You may also feel a bit sensitive this month, especially around June 16 when Neptune Retrograde digs into deep emotional themes — themes that touch on home, family, and how you care and nurture yourself. Lastly, keep an eye on the end of June. Mercury, an important planet in your chart, will make a few bumpy aspects into early July. You may have to make some changes in a relationship or confront something that has been a bit hidden. Want to learn more about how the astrology of June will affect you? Book your consultation now.

Capricorn

December 22–January 19

Capricorn Glyph

Like green shoots poking through the soil, you’re starting to come into a time this year when it’s more about what’s going on out in the world. True, ever since your ruling planet Saturn moved into Sagittarius back in 2015, you’ve been in a two year stretch of laying low, working behind the scenes, resting, and recuperating. When Mars arrives in Cancer on June 4, the action will move towards your relationships. In all fairness, Mars in this part of your chart is anything but demure. Your interactions with other people may be confrontational, but you may equally be inspired to reach out to others and make new connections or relationships, especially after the new moon on June 23. (If you’re already in a relationship, just keep an eye out for emotional outbursts with a partner as Mars can bring things to the surface.) Venus’s arrival in Taurus on June 6 will open a window this month for fun, romance, play, and creativity. Add that in with Mars’s fire and June may be a bit spicy on the relationship front. But Gemini Season is health and wellness season for you, Capricorn, a time when it’s generally a good idea to tend to your body’s needs as well as the practical needs of your day-to-day life. Use Gemini’s curiosity to try out new health regimens, interesting recipes, or make a change in how you organize your schedule. As much as this month is about physical health, it’s also about spiritual health. The full moon on June 9 will put your internal world in the spotlight. Find time to meditate, look within, and tap into your intuition. More importantly the full moon will highlight a need to let go and if there’s a habit or anything you’ve been stubbornly holding on to, use the full moon to release it. On the same day as the full moon, Jupiter will turn direct in your career sign of Libra. Although much of the year has been taking place behind the scenes, Jupiter has been bringing opportunity and growth to your professional life. You may see some movement or changes in your career, status, or title as a result. You’re coming into a stretch of 2017 that will be more public and less isolating. Aquarius

January 20–February 18

Aquarius Glyph

Just a friendly, big picture reminder that Saturn, your ruling planet, is pointing you toward community, friendships, and networking throughout the rest of the year. This has been a phase of your life for you to be “out there” — out in the world, making alliances and social connections. The full moon on June 9 will be a check in with this two year chapter of your life. How’s it going? Do you feel like you’ve really made some inroads with groups and like minded people? As an Aquarius you’re known for your studiousness so surely you’ll pass Saturn’s test. But if you’re feeling a little shaky of late note that one of the narratives threading itself through 2017 is a need to connect to people who both share your view of the world and challenge your very beliefs. That said, Gemini Season is a time when it’s all about personality, self expression, creativity, and identity. Gemini says have fun and make time for play and curiosity — maybe even a little romance, too. That said, Mars’s arrival in Cancer on June 4 will point you toward work and you may find this month about pounding through your to-do list and projects as much as it is about playtime. Mars will also make health a priority into July and you may find yourself taking action with new fitness goals or nutrition changes, especially after the new moon on June 23. Don’t forget your emotional health this month as well. With Venus arriving in Taurus on June 6, you’ll feel a natural pull toward home and family or the things that bring a sense of sustenance and care to your life. In short, you may be tending to your foundation or feathering your nest in June. Lastly, another big picture tip. This year is a crossroads year for you, a time of person shifts, milestones, and beginnings. August will likely be a major month for you as two eclipses, one in Leo and the other in Aquarius, signal that it’s time to turn the page in your life to a new chapter. Pisces

February 19–March 20

Pisces Glyph

First things first. Jupiter, your ruling planet will turn direct on June 9 after four months of pulling back. During this time you’ve been mulling things over, looking into the deepest reaches of your psyche, and integrating some of the emotional openings you’ve experienced since last September. Maybe you’ve been wondering why things have been so heavy lately. Yep, it’s because you’re half way through a personal chapter of having to figure your stuff out. Not to mention Pluto, which has been putting pressure on you to do a lot of evolving this year; you’re not smooth sailing yet. The other proverbial albatross around your neck has been Saturn. Perched high up in your career sign of Sagittarius, you’ve been working hard on your public life since 2015, which has brought both professional milestones as well as new responsibilities. The full moon on June 9, the same day as Jupiter Direct, will be a big check in on your efforts. You may hear about a job or receive recognition for your ambitions. In contrast to your professional life is your home life. Gemini, after all, is your sign of home, family, and roots. Falling at the bottom of your chart, the sign forms your foundation. This is a natural time in your personal calendar to turn your attention to your living situation and spend time with the people closest to you — your family or those who are like family. Maybe you made a recent move or you are gearing up for a move. An opposition between Mercury and Saturn on June 18 may bring a serious decision about the home or even a relationship. Lest you think June is all work and no play, Mars will change signs on June 4, heating up themes of fun, leisure, creativity, and self expression into July. Travel may factor into this month as well, especially travel around the neighborhood or short trips out of town. If you can’t get too far, you may instead spend your June reading books, taking classes, and engaged in interesting conversation. Lastly, you may feel a little sensitive than usual this month between Jupiter plumbing your depths and Neptune turning retrograde in Pisces on June 16. (Yes, more sensitive than usual!) If you feel a lot of emotions welling up toward the middle of the month, it may not just be yours. You may be picking up on the suffering of others. (The downside to being such an energetically open sign.) Just make sure you find time for self care this month because emotional exhaustion may lead to physical exhaustion as well.  Want to learn more about how the astrology of June will affect you?
