Eclipse season is always a bit of a strange time. There’s an electricity in the air, a subtle current hinting at a change in direction. Sudden and unexpected events have been known to occur just as things “eclipse” out of our lives.

Tomorrow’s Pisces solar eclipse, just like any solar eclipse, is a flip of the page as one narrative in our lives ends and another begins. Over the next six months, until the next set of eclipses, we’ll be examining the Pisces archetype — spirituality, forgiveness, compassion, redemption, the mystical, saints, universality, vision, inspiration, and unconditional love. But Pisces is also addiction, substance, illusion, loss, grief, martyrs, and breaks with reality. Just like any sign, there’s a lot of space in between the highs and lows.

The past is coming up with this eclipse. It’s on the South Node of the Moon. It’s on Chiron. We have to let something go. We have to stop carrying our wounds, our scars, our knots. More on this tomorrow.
