Ready for tomorrow’s alignment between the Sun and Saturn? While not the most glamorous of planets, Saturn has the role of holding us accountable in life. And, as a result, we’ve been digging into themes on maturity, commitment, responsibility, and getting older.
Saturn asks, what are you an authority in? What have you learned? He has his clipboard out and he’s checking you off against his list. When you’ve passed, you graduate to the next level. If you don’t, you have to go back and figure out where you made a mistake. At the risk of being overly simplistic, this is a lot of the energy we’ve been dealing with this week.
But much as we’re taking the next step up in our lives today, turning the page to a new chapter, we have to remember that Saturn is the planet of boundaries. He tells us no, you’ve gone too far, this isn’t working. As a result you may be feeling a limit or you’re seeing where something in your life is unsustainable. A decision will have to be made. We feel the weight of time. Maybe we’ve spied an extra gray hair in the mirror, too.
Saturn also applies pressure and resistance. He says that whatever you want will take time to build. It will need patience, perseverance, and diligence. Be prepared to work hard and climb.
Keep this in mind today. Saturn makes for a major check in on our maturity. And with Saturn in Sagittarius, the sign of faith, education, we may be seeing how our beliefs limit and constrict us. How we see the world is too narrow. Push for a breakthrough.
