Mercury arrives in Aquarius, the first of the personal planets to meet up with Pluto in Aquarius. Mercury takes us into Pluto’s forge to reshape and transform how we think and communicate. Look for clues that hint at what the Pluto in Aquarius era will be about.
Mercury meets up with Pluto in Capricorn, its last meeting in the sign for another two hundred years. It’s a day for powerful conversations and decisions, especially decisions we’ve been weighing since December when Mercury and Mars were retrograde.
A Libra Moon picks up on the energy of Venus in Pisces, a starry-eyed, romantic placement for the planet of love and beauty. Search for an elevated form of love, one that is all heart and soul. We’re also looking towards adventure and long distance travel.
We’re coming off a Leo Full Moon, one that brings its bold, unpredictable energies into the new week. With Mercury at the end of Capricorn and alongside Pluto, we’re having to get bracingly real about our decisions before Mercury arrives in Aquarius.
Mercury conjuncts Pluto, an aspect that has been slowly building since Mercury turned direct on February 3. Pluto has a habit of showing us what’s in the way of our evolution and growth, sometimes bracingly so.
Tomorrow’s conjunction of Mercury and Pluto starts to bring to a conclusion a story that began back in December. We’ve needed to look at how we think and listen. Pluto has show us our blind spots.
The Moon slips into Gemini and our attention turns towards ideas and exchange, creativity and self expression. There’s a playful energy in the air. But with Mercury conjunct Pluto, there’s an edge, too.
A week out from the new moon, we come up to the first quarter moon in Taurus and we get a preview of the stories we’re navigating in April and May. February is an important midpoint with the eclipses. Mercury also makes its final conjunction to Pluto.
Mercury turns direct at 24 Capricorn, not far from the energies of Pluto. We need to take a deeper look at our blindspots and projections, our secrets and shadows. We may receive bracing clarity, too.
As Venus prepares to turn direct this weekend in Capricorn, Mercury, also retrograde in Capricorn, meets up with Pluto. A lot of our work lately has been a deep reformation of what we value and how we communicate.
While we get our first taste of the South Node in Scorpio with today’s Scorpio Moon, let’s not forget that Mars is in Capricorn. Today’s energy points towards achievement, but also letting go of what’s not working.
We’re coming up to the dark of the moon. The light is at its most feint. We’re pulling inward and reflecting on the past few weeks. This also closes out a lunar month that began with a solar eclipse.
