How are people faring after Sunday’s lunar eclipse in Aries? I’ve been hearing a few classic eclipse stories aka swift events that bring an end to something, a no turning back, or realization that it’s time to move on.
Because eclipses activate the lunar nodes, it’s not uncommon to experience fated events around that time. And it’s not all bad stuff, really. I’ve seen eclipses announce an upcoming marriage or birth of a child. In short, when the eclipses are rocking your chart, big deal life is happening. Eclipses are the timers of fate.
Keep in mind that this is a south node eclipse. The south node is a point of release and letting go. So this eclipse may be more about something leaving your life instead of coming in. The south node resonates with Saturn — karma, limitations, coming full circle — and it is a well or container of all your past experiences with that sign. While the south node has been in Aries (since about February 2014), we’ve been collectively looking at our karma around Aries — action, aggression, war, violence.
