Mercury leaves its shadow today, capping off a rather intense Mercury Retrograde season. As the ruler of the Virgo solar eclipse on September 1, this Mercury Retrograde hinted that we’ve be taking a look at the past, our choices, and our beliefs around how we take care of our bodies and our daily lives. Eclipses are active for about six months, so the retrograde touched on themes that go beyond the events of September, instead launching us into 2017. When Mercury arrives in Libra tomorrow, we may see the next chapter unfold.

In other news, the Sun is building up to its square to Pluto tomorrow, the last leg of a journey that began back on January 5. The Sun + Pluto is always a reckoning of the ego. Do we like what we see within? What we are projecting onto others? What’s deep in our unconscious? Pluto has a maddening happen of reaching into our soul and pulling out what we’d rather not look at.
