We’re in the dark of the moon, the time just before the start of a new lunar month. The energy is quiet, introspective. And with the Moon in Scorpio, we’ve got one foot in this world and one in the other. Our psychic senses are heightened and the veil feels thin.

When the Sagittarius New Moon arrives tomorrow, we close out the Scorpio lunar month that began on October 30. Themes of death and rebirth, shadow and anxiety give way to truth, meaning, and beliefs. While Sag has a reputation for optimism, we’re doing some heavy lifting into December in the form of a tense t-square between Uranus, Jupiter, and Pluto. What we believe in has to change, how we see the world has to transform.

Pluto has a habit of showing us the undercurrent of a sign or planet it contacts. And what’s the undercurrent of Sagittarius? Fanaticism, self righteous opinions, truth that is closed to empathy and the truths of others. This is our Pluto work. We have to see ourselves both at a personal and collective level. We have to recognize ourselves in everything, even the things that we’d rather disavow. We are all connected, individual cells in part of something much larger.

Sagittarius Season will really challenge our faith, our understanding. Be open to seeing things differently.
