We’re feeling a restless pull today between the Moon in Gemini and Mercury in Sagittarius, two signs that highlight the need to gather information, educate ourselves, and form opinions and beliefs. If Gemini is words and ideas, then Sagittarius is publishing, philosophy, and ideology. These are travel signs, too, so don’t be surprised if we’re moving around today, more so than usual.
That said, there’s a bigger narrative at work this week. Sagittarius may be truth, but a growing square between Mercury and Neptune hints at the subjective truth, the fantastical truth. Neptune, already a powerful influence this month as it prepares to turn direct on November 19, can distort and bend. We may be questioning what is real or sorting fact from fiction.
Ultimately Neptune is a force that demands we connect with the Universal — the universality in all things, the universality of humanity. So, as we consider our words and beliefs, how can we understand ourselves in others? Especially those we are ideologically opposed to?
Lastly, don’t forget that we’re coming off of yesterday’s Taurus Full Moon, which highlighted a need for stability and security. Now that the ground has stopped shaking, how do we put things back together? How do we create something new? How will we sow the seeds for new life?
