We may be in eclipse season, a time guaranteed to push buttons, but there’s been a deep emotional undercurrent in the astrology of late in the form of Chiron.

Chiron may not be a planet, but it’s a point in the sky — and thus our chart — that reveals a psychic, karmic knot of pain that we’re working on through out our life. Chiron is sensitive, empathic, and easily triggered. Chiron is wise; it’s seen a lot and felt a lot depending on where it is. Chiron understands the pain of others because its felt it itself.

Since 2012, Chiron has been in Pisces and we’ve all been working through our knots and pain around unity, forgiveness, spirituality, and compassion. Today that journey through Pisces takes another turn as Chiron and the South Node link up. This is an aspect that speaks to the pain we carry, the stories we tell about our past, and the suffering we hold onto. The South Node is both our karma as well as a point of release.

Yes, yesterday’s lunar eclipse packed a punch (I should have titled my full moon report “#triggerwarning”) but whatever got kicked up for you has deep deep roots in both this life and others. Although it’s a choice, we have to let this pain go. We have to untie the knots and transmute the suffering. When we do, there will be so much more space and light for humanity to move and explore.
