Everything can be used in highest consciousness or lowest, for the light or the dark, to create life … or destroy.
The fire element is strong in the sky right now. The Sun is in Aires and Mars, its ruler, is in Sagittarius. This is a dynamic combination that can inspire wisdom as well as the need to seek out and explore the world.
When we feel the energy of these two planets in highest consciousness it’s open, expansive, like a flash of exhilaration when we deeply understand something or discover a new place. But when we feel the energy of these two planets in lowest consciousness, it’s judgmental, self righteous, zealous, and even violent. This is the polarity of Aries/Sagittarius. One feeds the light, the other the dark.
We have to make a choice. The world is demanding it. How will we choose to express the potential of our natal chart or even our Sun sign? In highest or lowest consciousness? There is validity in either direction; one can cannot exist without the other. But we see what happens when the world is imbalanced toward anti-consciousness, fear, and hatred.
As if to remind us of how vital our choice is, Mercury crossed into Aries late yesterday. We have to make a choice how we will use Aries. Will our ideas, movements, and actions inspire? Or will they destroy?
We’re coming up to a lunar eclipse tomorrow in Libra, too. Full moons — especially lunar eclipses — are times were the decision is urgent, there’s a crisis, we have to make a left or a right. Regardless of what we choose, Libra, in its highest consciousness, is a call for unity and peace.
