Can you feel the energy of creation/destruction swirling around this week?

On one hand we had a new moon on Monday, a fertile time to seed our lives with new ideas and initiatives. Venus and Mars are trine today, too. We’re really motivated — turned on? — to bring our passion into reality. The energy feels alive, alchemical.

On the other, the Sun and Mercury are approaching an opposition to Pluto, a planet deeply associated with decay, death, and rebirth. I would say that Pluto asks us to let go, but Pluto never asks. It quietly demands, no negotiating. We can hold onto something, but it will slowly disintegrate in our hands.

How does one create in the midst of destruction? Bring life into death? I think one of the best things Pluto can do is clear space, although its a bit like burning the house down to get a new home. So, as space clears in your life this week, what do you want to seed and create in its place?

One of our purposes in life is to discover ourselves, taking what we’ve learned and sending it back to Source through our insights. As the Sun and Pluto align into tomorrow, this is the perfect time to shed an old layer of self, to have a breakthrough, and an epiphany. Our takings of consciousness nourish our connection to the Creator so it can understand itself through our experiences. Work with this energy this week. Be open to the best possible opening of self.
