There’s a lot of sextiles happening in the sky today — Sun/Saturn + Moon, Mars/Pluto, Mercury/Chiron. For all you astrology students, a sextile is a 60 degree aspect between two planets; it has the energy of Venus. The two planets are social, in support of each other, and have an easy relationship.
So what does this mean for the rest of you? This energy will open up doors today. Sextiles are a little on the quiet side, but they grease the wheels so to speak. Keep in mind that Saturn features heavily in all of this and he has a serious reputation. Mars and Pluto gives us action and power. If the cosmic energy today is about opportunity, Saturn will be favoring career, ambition, milestones, and taking the next step in our lives.
Another thing to note is that we’re sliding toward the end of the lunar month and the next one will begin on Monday with the Aquarius New Moon. This is a time to wrap things up instead of starting anything major. If any doors open today, wait till Monday to kick off.
