The Moon’s arrival in Sagittarius this afternoon is another reminder that we’re deep in the work of faith and belief this week. As I mentioned previously, Saturn is activating this big story we’ve been unfolding since last September, a month when Saturn entered the sign of Sagittarius, a place it will reside until December 2017.

Saturn isn’t an easy planet. It’s function is to regulate time, to help us mature, take on responsibility, and create structure in our life. There’s also a heaviness to Saturn and, as a result, we may be feel its weight this week in advance of Saturday.

Another current in the mix this week is the last opposition between Jupiter in Chiron, which is adding a layer of psychic pain to Saturn’s pressure on us to figure out our lives. Chiron is the knot of suffering on that is both collective and personal, a knot that we must undo. Right now Chiron is in Pisces. The knot is existential, we’re feeling the suffering of separation from unconditional love, from Source. Pisces is a sign that reminds us to take consciousness of the universality of life and the unity of everything both manifested and unmanifested. We have deep work to do this week, especially if we’re a Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces.

In astrology, the symbol for Chiron is a key. It’s literally the key that unlocks the chart. When you release the knot, everything opens.
