We’re a week away from two major planets turning retrograde. On Sunday, April 17, Mars will turn retro followed by Pluto the next day. Here’s what you need to keep in mind this week.
When a planet makes something called a station, which is to say that it appears to come to a stop before turning retrograde, it saturates the collective with its archetype. And what is Mars? Force, action, leadership, both positive and negative expressions of masculine energy. And what is Mars in Sagittarius? Faith, exploration, belief, religion, wisdom, ideology, dogma, fanaticism. Things may be a little more in your face this week, especially things that line up with the Sagittarius archetype.
Let’s not forget about Pluto. It’s archetype is a little more potent. It holds a mirror to us and shows us all the things we’d rather not look at, the things that are easier to project onto others. Pluto is a force of spiritual evolution. It provokes consciousness of the things we are in anti-consciousness about. It draws a line with the things that no longer serve us and that have to be let go of.
